For us – and more than 300 participants from all over Norway – the day started with breakfast before we opened the event with a joint digital introduction from Oslo. We then had presentations from leading voices and innovative minds in Innovation Norway, Inventas and local companies.

How to stop pressing the snooze button?⏰

To follow up on the event in 2024, we now invite you to "Wakeup 2030 - no time to snooze" on June 11, 2025. A webinar with reflection, inspiration and an honest status: How are we doing - and what do we do next?

In the webinar, you will meet businesses that share what has happened in the past year, and new acquaintances who are working purposefully with sustainability. We went through:

Insights and practical examples from Sofie Trovik in Huddly, Espen Ramsbacher in Circmar and Hanne Digre in ScaleAQ on how they work with sustainability and ecodesign in product development.
Discussion about challenges and future opportunities together with Kjetil Thorvik Brun in Inventas, Runa Haug Khoury in Variable and Martin Sveinssønn Melvær in the Environmental Foundation Bellona.

Realization: Sustainability work is going too slowly and we are not doing enough – fast enough.

Many of the most important goals have already been set when it comes to sustainability. And we all have a responsibility to solve the challenges and needs along the way.

To achieve this, it is time to talk about implementation. We want to create arenas for talking together, where we can share, learn and inspire each other to actually make a difference.

We call it Wakeup 2030 – because there is still time. Then we must wake up now and

As sustainable product developers and as an innovation partner for our customers, we feel the responsibility to influence the pace towards 2030.

ACT NOW

If the goals are to be achieved, action is required now. That is the motivation for starting the awakening with less than two hundred and thirty days left until the year 2030.

SUCCEED TOGETHER

That is also the reason why we have invited both Innovation Norway and the other contributors to a common inspiration. We can, we have the knowledge and we have the framework to act. We must act to meet the laws and requirements. And we want to make a change to save the planet. We will do this.

The initiative will continue with annual check-ins until we reach the year 2030 – so that together we can implement and improve sustainable practices.

Together we can use the days until the year 2030 effectively, so that we reach the important goals we have set for ourselves. The next Wakeup 2030 webinar will be on June 11, 2026.
