We customize robots

Robotics is the field where all of Inventas' fields of expertise meet. Here we combine our years of experience in developing mechanisms with our electronics and cybernetics expertise, as well as our ability to stitch together industrial user interfaces.

Startup--Streamline-Sharp

We develop robotic applications that are used in extraordinary operations and in demanding environments.

Our applications may be characterized by small volumes, extreme accuracy requirements, submersion in water, or space constraints. The systems are typically based on close interaction between mechanical design, dynamic modeling, actuators, electronics, and a multi-axis control system.

All of our development cycles are unique, and our solutions are developed with varying degrees of customization and off-the-shelf products. We utilize components from many of the largest component suppliers in the world, but fully integrate the products in accordance with the customer's total needs.

Our areas of expertise

Mechatronics

Design of mechanical products with embedded sensors, electronics and IT solutions is the core of what Inventas delivers. We combine niche expertise in industrial design, dynamic simulation, encapsulation, control of complex actuator systems, servo solutions, and electronics development.

Robotization of manual processes

Inventas develops automated production and maintenance equipment where standard products are not suitable. These are typically customized robotic solutions and machinery, which are to perform special, or particularly demanding, operations.

A number of industries face enormous automation potential. Inventas is therefore actively working to ensure economic, human and environmental benefits, to raise standards and competitiveness.

Management and monitoring

We are increasingly using advanced camera and sensor solutions in new products. We integrate sensor data into proprietary control systems and computer graphics, with typical applications in production planning, medical surveillance, and monitoring and regulation of industrial processes.

Industrial UX

Most automated processes still involve humans. Using critical design and technical UX, we put humans at the center of automated processes. We ensure that safety is maintained and that control surfaces are designed so that operators get the right information at the right time.

Sometimes this involves simple control surfaces for an operator or the correct design of a lever, while other times it can be expressed in the form of comprehensive systems such as control rooms and wheelhouses.
